I wasn't home and it wasn't until hubs was returning from the doc's office that I even knew it happened. I was LIVID. Everything was totally fine, not even a bruise or scratch, but it's scary because sometimes those things DO result in serious injury. But you're right, almost everyone has a story about how it happened to them or their own child. Accidents happen. Bet Gene (or you) never leaves the basement door open again!
